Nutrisystem Week 3 COMPLETE

 Y'all guys. omg, y'all guys.

THREE WEEKS DOWN. THREE TO GO.

Half way there. I can do this. I think I can, I think I can.

I lost a total of 1, yes ONE pound last week, however, I fluctuated a TON, probably caused by me not doing the program correctly. I gained 5lbs last week, lost it plus one more. So all in, I am down 11 lbs at this point. I'll take it.

Day 15
This is getting tough, I'm ready to be done, but I will power through. Forgive me if my daily descriptions are less than stellar.

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: Apple Strudel Bar. Yum.
Lunch: Double Chocolate Caramel Bar... Not as fabulous as it sounds, but it was good-ish.
Dinner: Meat Sauce Lasagna. This is another one I had in the first week, and it has beans in it. Very strange textural-ly speaking, and leaves an aftertaste, which then requires vodka to get rid of it, so I mean, it's NS's fault I consumed those calories.

Day 16

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal.. This was wonderful. I would eat it every day.
Lunch: Spicy Kung Pao Noodles. These were also quite tasty
Dinner: Santa Fe Style Chicken. Meh. It wasn't bad but I could take it or leave it.

Day 17
Today, I found out that I am doing all this shit wrong. EFF MY LIFE AND ALL THESE MEALS I HAVE BEEN ENDURING. OMG. OMG. OMG.

The powerfuels and smartcarbs are NOT OPTIONAL. You have to eat them to be doing NS correctly. They help your body burn fat and metabolize calories. I have proof that they are required, because I went home and got on the scale after realizing I was effing the whole thing up and I had GAINED 5 pounds. Eating NS meals, veggies and drinking water, consuming about one thousand calories a day, I gained 5lbs in THREE days. I will explain in more detail about the NS plan in my final post so you can see exactly what is required to follow the plan correctly.

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bar (not gross) PLUS a Powerfuel of a boiled egg
Powerfuel Snack: 1oz White Fish
Lunch: Trailmix bar & cucumbers
Powerfuel Snack: Low Fat String Cheese
Smartcarb Snack: Small apple
Dinner: Chicken Alfredo. This is really pretty good considering it comes from a package.

Day 18

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal (LOVE THE OATMEALS) with Powerfuel of a boiled egg
Powefuel Snack: Low Fat String Cheese
Lunch: Black Beans & Rice, which was wonderfully spicy and delicious
Powerfuel Snack: Boiled egg
Smartcarb Snack: --I skipped
Dinner: Vegetarian Chili which was not wonderful

Day 19

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: Harvest Nut Bar with Powerfuel boiled egg
Powerfuel: Low Fat String Cheese
Lunch: Fudge Graham Bar. I love this one. It like Golden Graham cereal all crunched up and then dipped in chocolate. YUM. YUM. YUMMY
Powerfuel Snack: Boiled Egg. I love eggs, so back off. I know what you're thinking.
Smartcarb Snack: Blueberries
Dinner: Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza. Not pizza but reasonably tasty.

Day 20
OHEMGEE! IT'S MY WEEKEND OFF! EAT ALL THE THINGS!!!!! YAAASSS!!!!!!

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: One Boiled Egg
Lunch: Cucumbers & Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Dinner: 4 Ribs (My husband makes the abso-fucking-lute best) and a half cup(ish) of baked beans

Hold up right there smarty pants. I know, its my weekend off, and I wanted to eat all the things, but I was pretty good on Saturday as far as the food I consumed. I spent all the rest of my calories on drinks. Our kiddos spent the night with their cousin, so I took advantage and got a bit tipsy... more than a bit, because I'm keepin it real.

I drank: 2 -doubles of Pineapple Vodka & Sprite Zero and then I had a Double Colorado Bulldog and all that amounted to 680 calories of my day.

Day 21

What I ate-- I ate all 4 servings of my veggies, and drank my 64 oz of water in addition to the following.....
Breakfast: One boiled egg and one half of a Grands! Biscuit with spray not-butter
Lunch: skipped
Dinner: Steamed brussel sprouts, 1 and a half Brats wrapped in Carb Balance Tortillas with Mustard

Drank: One double Pineapple Vodka w/Sprite Zero and One Double Colorado Bulldog.

I love the NuMi app because it tracks your calories for you, as well as your water intake, your veggie consumption, as well as all your meals and snacks.

Here we go into week 4 and I'm going to incorporate the after dinner snacks this week too.

#allthethangs

Near the end of 2016, one night while Stephen and I were lying in bed, I told him, "2017 is going to be our year. I can feel it. I know it. We are going to have all tha thangs," and then last night, he reminded me of this and *GASP* told me I was right! This year has been wild, but this summer has been bountifully, overwhelmingly perfect. Obviously, you know we closed on our home, which was hitting the biggest goal we have had for the last (almost) four years. We also bought a new vehicle, which we desperately needed, but were holding out until after we closed on our home, you know, 'just in case'. There is something else  that we have been wishing/hoping/praying for since I've known Stephen, and it has finally come to fruition. She's here y'all, and not just for her required 42 days this summer. She's here. She is going to school here, I just dropped her off for her first day this morning. She is making friends, learning to drive, and buildi...

SO CLOSE!

Y'all guys, OHEMGEE, y'all guys! We are now less than THREE weeks away from closing on our home and moving in. WHAAAAT?!?! I need to get busy! Anyone wanna volunteer to come help me pack? This weekend, next weekend, or the weekend after that, I'm totally free... you know, for packing. Come on and make a trip to A-Town! We got wind and dirt for days, you can't even imagine! I'll wine and dine ya', take you to Cadillac Ranch, and tell you how pretty you are. SWEAR IT. Seriously though, so much to do and I want to do it all right now! We are beyond ecstatic. For one, our final rent payment cleared our account this week, and it was one of the best feelings in the world. Knowing that after 3 years of saving and planning, we are about to move into a home that is ours. Speaking of the rent thing, it got my brain wondering how much money we have spent in rent in the last 3 and a half years... Do you want to know? Its insanity. SEVENTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. Gone, jus...

TWENTYEIGHTEEN Y'ALL GUYS!

Y'all. How has another year already gone by? And seriously, has it really been almost five months since I blogged last? What the actual F?!? Where did 2017 go? I wasn't done kicking ass and taking names yet... honestly though, I'm not even a little sad its over. I got a whole new freaking year to kill it. Right? I'm pretty sure I have hit those years that my parents used to talk about 'time flying'. SLOW DOWN. Or, you know, speed the hell up, like, get me right to retirement, I'm moving to Honduras! jaykay, jaykay. I am loving all the kids, and soaking up all the memories. I know. It only happens once. all that. So many of my high school friends/acquaintances have either just had their last baby, or are about to. And I'll be honest, I'm super jealous. There have been tears. Many. And I don't even like to cry. But then, I start doing some simple math, and I'm like, I will not even be 45 yet when my youngest graduate high school... y'all ...
